What a great service! Got the number from the store I bought my Appliance from. Called Tony, left a message and got a call back the same day,. We made an appointment at my convenience , he was on time, polite, knew what the problem was almost immediately, service performed and dryer running great!

I called and they were able to come out the same day. The problem was diagnosed right away. He asked if I had another fridge I could put the food in so the fridge could defrost overnight. I said I did not but knew people who had room and coolers I could use. He said to not do that. They would come the next day with equipment that could defrost the fridge quickly. They came at the time they said they would both days. They were professional and considerate of my time.

Freezer repair in Tampa Bay covers chest freezers, upright freezers, and standalone deep freezers. The most common failures: a defrost system component causing frost buildup that blocks airflow and eventually causes the unit to stop freezing, a failed evaporator fan motor, a bad start relay, or a compressor issue.

Frost buildup that grows steadily over weeks — on the walls, the floor, or the evaporator coils at the back — is a defrost system failure. The freezer still runs but can't maintain temperature because air can't circulate past the ice-blocked evaporator. We test the defrost thermostat, defrost heater, and defrost timer individually.

A chest freezer that runs constantly but won't get cold enough is often a failing compressor or a refrigerant leak. Both are at the top of the repair cost range. For a freezer holding a full inventory of food, the repair cost is worth it. For an aging unit worth $200 at retail, the math is different. We'll tell you both numbers.

We work on all major brands: Frigidaire, GE, Whirlpool, Maytag, Samsung, Kenmore. The $89 diagnostic applies toward the repair. Twelve-month warranty on parts and labor.

When You Need It /

Signs You Need Freezer Repair

Freezer Is Not Freezing at All

The unit runs but temperature keeps rising. Could be a defrost system failure causing complete icing of the evaporator, a failed evaporator fan, or a compressor issue. We test all three in the diagnostic.

Heavy Frost Buildup on Walls or Floor

Frost accumulating over weeks is a defrost system failure. The defrost cycle isn't running, so ice builds up until airflow is blocked. The freezer will eventually stop cooling entirely if not repaired.

Freezer Running Constantly but Temperature Rising

When a freezer runs without cycling off, it's working hard but losing the battle. Possible causes: defrost failure causing an ice blockage, a compressor that's weakening, or a refrigerant leak. We test in order of probability.

Loud Noise from the Freezer

A rattling from the back is usually the condenser fan motor or the compressor mounting. A buzzing that's gotten louder is often the condenser fan struggling. Both are diagnostic findings.

Water Pooling Under the Freezer

A clogged defrost drain is the most common cause — water from the defrost cycle can't drain and pools under the unit. A drain blockage is a straightforward repair.

FAQ /

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my freezer not freezing?

Most common causes: defrost system failure causing ice to block the evaporator, a failed evaporator fan motor, or a compressor issue. The $89 diagnostic identifies which one.

Why is there so much frost buildup in my freezer?

The defrost cycle isn't running — defrost thermostat, defrost heater, or defrost timer has failed. Frost accumulates until it blocks airflow and the unit stops cooling. It's usually one of these three parts.

Is freezer repair worth it?

For units under ten years old and repairs under $250, yes. For older chest freezers with compressor failure, we'll compare repair cost to replacement cost so you can decide. A full chest freezer of food makes the decision easier.

Do you repair chest freezers and upright freezers?

Yes. Chest freezers, upright freezers, and deep freezers. All major brands.
